Welcome to the team, Katya!

Katya gained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Law in Ukraine. She has a Distinction for her LLM, specialising in International Commercial Law, which she completed at Cardiff University in 2021. Prior to joining Harding Evans, Katya worked as a Paralegal for a Cardiff-based firm.

Katya wanted to join Harding Evans because, “Harding Evans is an established legal practice in South Wales. After an interview with Sara and Lauren, I realised that I really want to work here because they are real-life examples of how far you can progress – their stories of having joined 17/18 years ago and progressed from paralegals to partners is inspiring! I am interested in the fantastic opportunities that the firm has to offer with its expertise in such a niche area as clinical negligence.”

Sara Uren, Partner in Harding Evans’ Clinical Negligence team, added: “We’re so pleased to welcome Kateryna to our ever-growing clinical negligence team. She has settled in very well already and her broad range of experience will be valuable to the team and we wish her all the best.”

In her spare time, Katya is very active and enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, yoga classes and bouldering! Also, she has practiced karate for 10 years, so let’s not get on her bad side!
