A new addition to Team HE

We are pleased to welcome Martin Dennehy to Harding Evans as our new I.T. Technician.

In the past Martin had worked for Alcumus, based in Nantgarw but prior to starting at Harding Evans, Martin was in full time education studying for a masters in archaeology at Cardiff University after completing his undergraduate degree in archaeology at Exeter University.

Martin said his reason for joining #TeamHE was “I was very much looking to work for a local company close to home and not too big.  Found that during in the interview I really gelled with the people I met and got a strong feeling that the office had a good atmosphere.”

Darren Newport, I.T Manager here at Harding Evans added: “I would like to welcome Martin to the IT Department, Martin has a very good technical background and obviously interviewed very well. I am sure Martin will prove to be a very welcome addition to the Department and a good acquisition for the company.”

In Martin’s spare time he can be found playing the mandolin or stomping about the local countryside looking at wildlife and historic sights. Martin referred to himself as “imagining Toby Jones’ character from Detectorists without the metal detector and you’re not far off”

At one point Martin lived for an entire month in a 3-man tent, he bought in Aldi for £10 – I suppose if you’re looking to camp on a budget, Martin has pointed us in the right direction.
