Harding Evans win Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award

Harding Evans has been honoured with the prestigious Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award from the Cardiff & District Law Society.

This recognition underscores the firm’s dedication to creating a workplace that values diversity, champions inclusivity, and promotes equality across all aspects of its legal practice.

In their ongoing commitment to support the LGBTQ+ community, Harding Evans proudly sponsored Pride in the Port and Pride Cymru – being the only law firm to do so. These events are not only a celebration of diversity but also crucial platforms for advocating for equality and fostering understanding within our community.

Understanding the unique legal needs of the LGBTQ+ community, Harding Evans is proud to offer tailored legal services designed to support individuals and families in South Wales. Our legal professionals are equipped with the knowledge and sensitivity required to navigate legal challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community – and the team are committed to ongoing training and development to be able to provide these services.

Commenting on the win, Haley Evans, Marketing and Communications Manager at Harding Evans said: “Winning the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Award from the Cardiff & District Law Society is not just a recognition of our efforts; it is a catalyst for our ongoing commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive legal profession. The award inspires us to continue innovating and implementing initiatives and services that contribute to a more inclusive workplace and legal community.”

The judges of the Cardiff & District Law Society awards added: “We were impressed with the work Harding Evans Solicitors has done to develop legal services that are specifically tailored to the needs of those who identify as LGBTQ+ and to think about how to make these services visible and accessible. We were also encouraged by the actions they are taking to provide an inclusive environment for colleagues who identify as LGBTQ+.”
